Lake Flei...vartn

This is the lake we drove by today on our way to find the little church. It is 1 km deep and has a worm like creature living in its depths. We didn't see the worm like creature.

  1. Yeah you figured out how to download your pictures. Now I get the added joy/torture of visually being jealous of your ventures.
We had dinner with Abby and Aiden (Abby made mac and cheese.. the family recipe) and despite Sam and Aiden fighting the whole time everything is good or if anything that fact of info should tell you that everything is normal.

  2. A nice little church. Our east side church folded today, and so we head back to the original mother church.

  3. I like the church too.. Looks like a beautiful place. Nothing new here, other than that we're home and our house is still standing. I always worry when we're gone and there's fireworks all around.. But we're very glad to be home. Chris has a busy week (including nights) teaching at the conference here at Lightspeed and entertaining at night.. It's like he's really gone for 4 weeks, not 3.. I've thought about a web cam, but then we watched a freaky movie last night (Untraceable) with Diane Lane (like her) and it freaked me out.. Those computer geeks.. Got bad news from one of my brides. She's postponing (not canceling) til next year sometime. She got Melanoma in her inner thigh and they are having insurance problems and want to wait to get married.. Now I have nothing for Sept.. Not good.. But one good thing that helps.. Nina (ugg) sent a payment and "says" she's sending 3 more.. We'll see.. Well, that's all. Except C & Me are going to Morro Bay this Fri. with LS for Wine & dinner (me-taking pictures) and then coming home. It should be fun.. It's a free trip. A will go to my moms.

    Alright, have fun.. Love us..

  4. It was very pretty, very peaceful. Although the information we had said the church had been decommissioned in 1926, there were hymnals, bulletins and other objects inside that made it look as though it had been used recently, possibly that morning. We had to turn a huge iron key to unlock the front door, and there was NO one around. I don´t think that the sheep are that spiritual here, but they were the only other living creatures around. Mom

  5. That church reminds me of a little church I visited in Pray, Montans, in 1982. The church in Pray had a large window in the wall behind the alter. It was very cool.

Did any of the bulletins have a date?

Hope you are having fun; sure looks like it.
