Yesterday we took Aiden to Rabobank Arena to see the "Elmo Grows Up Show", one of those singing and dance things for toddlers and their poor parents and grandparents who have to watch Cookie Monster doing Itsy Bitsy Spider....when we came out many of the kids, including Aiden, lost all thought of the show when they spotted the fountain at Centennial Plaza. It was hot (yea we were in Bakersfield) so we let Aiden play too. While he was playing, KGET was interviewing a lady about her thoughts on our county clerk refusing to do any civil ceremonies in the wake of the gay marriage fiasco. See Aiden in the background of the picure? Then they interviewed Scott. He was on the 5:oo news last night. Very well spoken I thought. Basically just said that Ann Barnett needs to make some kind of statement to explain her actions to the taxpayers of Kern County.

Then we walked over the bridge over the train tracks downtown, very fun! and went to Target for dry clothes...
